With a background in the environmental and charity sectors, bringing a wide range of transferable skills and experience, I made the switch to a tech career in 2022. Having spent time as a software engineer and agile coach I am now a delivery manager but still with a focus on continuous improvement and supporting people through coaching, helping to build strong, productive teams. I advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion both at work and through being engaged in the wider Manchester tech sector. I have chaired and been a panellist at several conferences and events including the “What equity means for the digital women in 2023” panel at the Manchester Digital International Women’s Day event, the “Empowering Women in Tech” panel at ReframeWIT 2023 and “The power of vulnerability at TechRise MCR”. I’m passionate about accessibility, digital poverty and tech for good.
