Sub-system manager and lead engineer responsible for planning, measuring, mitigating and reporting on all tasks involving design, test, evaluation & integration of the Automated Flight Safety System (AFSS) on the Space Launch System (SLS) Core Stage (CS) and Exploration Upper Stage (EUS). Boeing Cost Account Manager (CAM) for a 56.7 million dollar task order implementing Development, Design, Test & Evaluation (DDT&E) of AFSS on the SLS Program. Establish task and test plans, perform Earned Value Management (EVM), identify and mitigate risks, track emerging issues in the Boeing Opportunity, Risk and Issue System (BORIS), and report status and elevate potential impacts to CS and EUS program management. Serve as sub-system liaison to NASA customer, promoting opportunities and mitigating issues as they are identified.

Boeing Defense Systems (BDS) Avionics Flight Systems Component Integration Lead responsible for avionics and sensor flight hardware integration on the Space Launch System (SLS) Core Stage (CS) and Exploration Upper Stage (EUS) at Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) in New Orleans, Louisiana, Stennis Space Center (SSC) in Mississippi, and Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Anticipate roadblocks and mitigate delivery slips via alternative assembly strategies, substitutions and/or schedule modifications by working directly and independently with engineering and Program management teams at Boeing Huntsville, Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), MAF, SSC and KSC. Recommend process improvements and incorporate lessons learned to streamline future vehicle builds. Provide direct support, as needed, to maintain Program cost and schedule.

Boeing Test & Engineering (BT&E) lead responsible for formal verification of the SLS Core Stage (CS) avionics sub-system. Interface directly with MSFC and Boeing internal customers and related teams to negotiate contract scope and schedule, identify and assign tasks, and track, mitigate and report progress to Boeing upper management. Responsibilities include project and personnel management, task tracking and reporting for SI&T; design, assembly and certification of the System Integration and Test Facility (SITF) and Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) duplicating CS avionics architecture; and procurement, integration, analysis, formal verification and qualification of SLS avionics subsystems. Identify cross-functional issues & opportunities, determine test & verification strategies, and coordinate schedule & resources to achieve program success.
