I am a career executive, CEO and coach/facilitator, having eye-level accountability conversations with the C-Suite to take full ownership of future proofing their businesses, careers and lives, with the agility required for a sense of composed confidence.I have been on a journey of cracking the code of agility for 40 years, revealing insights at the intersection of an unusual combination of deep agility experiences in 3 worlds:• The Real World: I started my career working as a Petroleum Engineer on offshore oil & gas drilling rigs with Shell International.• The Business World: I ran a number of Aerospace hardware and software technology businesses, ending up running the Aerospace Division of a British public company, Spirent plc• The Advisory World: for over 20 years as an author, keynote speaker, facilitator, coach, board member/chair and peer advisory group chair and speaker for CEOs and executives of small-to-medium sized and fast-moving enterprises, companies and corporations.Leveraging insights at the intersection of these experiences and understandings, I distilled the essence of the challenge down to Agile C2C: Conversation-Flow to Cash-Flow. That needs a longer conversation to unpack but essentially, you show me poor cash-flow and I will show you poor conversation-flow! Whether for a business, or a career or a life.All of my activities align with driving agile conversation-flows, with peer groups and advisory boards, as a facilitator, coach, author, speaker, board member/chair and as a global connector in global communities. I love working with REF (formerly Renaissance Executive Forums), the Advisory Board Centre, The Portfolio Collective and The One Advantage.I have been lucky enough to have that feeling many times that everything I ever did was preparation to do this. Whether in a corporate career or a portfolio career, that is a feeling I wish for other professionals which is the focus of all of my work. Facilitating and coaching Boards, CEOs, Executives, and their teams to inflect the trajectory of their conversation-flow professionally and personally, in business and in life, with the agility required to feel a sense of composed confidence in their future. Not least of all, it is likely that it is only "when" not "if" you will have a portfolio phase to your career, sooner or later.
