The success of the first round-the-world solar flight in July 2016 marks the end of the Solar Impulse project and the start of the activities of the Solar Impulse Foundation. Generating story ideas and pitch angles that drive back to the company’s overall strategy is one of my favorite activities and it's naturally that I joined the communication team of this new strucutre. In 2017, intercrossed with my second maternity leave, I took the lead of the PR and social media team. I have overseen 360° communication campaigns around book and documentaries releases, orchestrated the communication around the new projects of the foundation and participated at the COP23, the UN Climate Conference in Bonn.

I started as press officer in 2010 and I managed on my own the first international flights to Brussels, Paris, Madrid and Morocco. I secured front page in top tier media outlets, mobilized press photographers at 3:00 am in the morning, pitched hundreds of reporters, led multiple projects simultaneously and interacted with senior level management daily. Self-motivated and capable of inspire others; I have assisted a lot the Marketing Director in the coordination of the communication team and I ultimately built and led the media relations department for the first round-the-world solar flight in 2015/2016.With excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, I managed a team of 8 people and 2 PR agencies. Together, we have driven massive positive earned media coverage: 241 hours of TV news coverage in 53 countries, 69’865 online news stories in 11 languages and organized 600+ interviews one-to-one with Bertrand Piccard & André Borschberg.Innovative, creative and proactive, I am always following the trends and experimenting new tools. To respond to the shift of the traditional media towards new digital channels, we have organized a cross unit team between digital & press and we have organized the first Facebook Live interview from a solar airplane flying at 18’000 feet!
