My name is Alyssa Moak, and I am a first year student in the Agri-business program at Hinds Community College. I graduated from high-school with many honors and awards. I am a long time 4-H and FFA member. I have participated in many contests and leadership activities through both organizations. I have attended leadership conferences for both organizations as well. In addition, I have spoken in front of large crowds and have led agricultural education experiences for children. I have shown and cared for a variety of livestock species over the last eight years. One of my greatest accomplishments through my FFA experience happened recently. My diversified livestock project won first place in the state. This was a great accomplishment and honor. I have worked for a food truck running the cash register, answering the phone, and taking orders. I have excellent people skills that I acquired from this job. I also have experience working on my family's small cattle farm. We vaccinate and care for our cattle. I have learned many things about livestock from my parents and grandfather. These skills would be an asset to many other occupations. My other work experience comes from my current job as a soccer and T-ball referee. I am very dedicated and hard working. I am also very responsible. I feel that I have a lot to offer my future employer.
