Participated in a 17-week technical training course by Microsoft with a focus on Windows Server and Microsoft Azure cloud administration. Gained an understanding of local storage solutions, Hyper-V virtualization, disaster recovery, and creating/managing local workstation and server images. Deployed and configured Windows Server 2019 / 2016, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policies, and access authentication. Implemented Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.

Supervised 23 personnel in maintenance and administration of mission-critical networks containing 33 servers, 29 network switches, 750 computers, and 2,753 user accounts. Trained 32 personnel producing 2 fully qualified watch teams, 550 resolved service requests, and 37 job qualifications. Completed command-level Information Systems operations assessments with an average final score of 95%.

Oversaw daily operations and maintenance of command Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network infrastructure, encompassing Windows Server and client OS, Microsoft Office products, and remote work capabilities. Provided Tier 1 and 2 technical support to more than 400 military and government civilian users. Coordinated 35 Video Teleconferencing sessions throughout 3 remote locations. Identified and corrected 450 deficiencies in inventory of over 2500 company devices valued at more than $5M.

Oversaw the refresh and grooming of Integrated Ship's Network System suite in preparation of a Fleet Cyber Command cyber security readiness inspection, mitigating 57,000 network exploits and achieving a passing score of 87%. Led a team of 22 system administrators and desktop support technicians to meet increasing technology demands and requirements, while managing 1,450 assets, scheduling preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, and network infrastructure upgrades.

Delivered reliable network and communications support 24/7 to joint field civilian affairs teams providing aid and training to local communities. Facilitated over 300 hours of helpdesk, desktop, and telecommunications fundamentals training to better meet and adapt to customer needs in a rapidly changing environment.
