My passion is working to better support families and children with special education needs, and with that in mind that I created Inclusive Teaching (IT) Matters, which is a Community Interest Company that complements the voluntary work I continue to be dedicated to.I have spent my career to date working for global organisations in senior roles, and the skills and experience have collected along the way are invaluable.I have an amazing family and am the proud parent of two children, one of which has Down Syndrome, who were my inspiration to jump feet first into this exciting venture.I provide accredited training and tutoring in:• MAKATON - language program using speech, signs & symbols• Multi Sensory Maths through Numicon• Learning Profile of children with Downs Syndrome• Effective resourcing strategy for visual learners• iPad & ITC (Information & Communication Technology) to supporting SENPutting the child at the center I can provide advice and guidance to support providers including:• Education - Schools, Teacher training colleges, Childminders, Nurseries• Healthcare - LD nursing, Hospitals, GP Practices• Leisure - Leisure Centres , Football Cubs, Retail and Other• Parents/carers and other Support Groups/CharitiesIT Matters is a not for profit organisation and any profits will be reinvested in IT Matters or given to related charities.For more information please email me Amanda@ITmatterscic.co.uk.
