As the R&D projects manager, was responsible for delivering all DSP SW and baseband and RF HW for CDMA handsets, while at the same time being the RF lead. Responsible for scheduling all HW prototype builds and managing board designs, suppliers, production test capabilities and certification testing. Managed all various leads for sub teams to the project, reporting directly to the program manager. Focus on team motivation, quality/yields, cost (including production test time) and on time delivery.

RF lead for multiple fast paced handset developments, including system design, analysis and system/block specifications. Worked with R&D project management and operations and transitions products from R&D to mass production while optimizing yields and cost. Initiated and developed great working relationships with outsourced IC design houses for high performance RF front ends for CDMA. High density board designs, thermal considerations and mechanical and serviceability optimization. Antenna, emissions, ESD and environmental design. Lab testing and optimization during the entire development process. Drove team motivation to facilitate on time and high quality delivery to the program.
