My duties includes but not limited to the following: Comply with the company’s ISO certified standards. o ISO‐9001 “Quality Management Systems” o ISO‐14001 “Environmental Management Safety” o OHSAS‐18001 “Occupational Health and Safety” Attend client meetings to understand their needs and inquiry requirements. Delegate a design Architect, brief him with the requirements and overlooks progress. Review the accuracy of bill of quantities in comparison to the technical drawings and vice versa. Creates workload schedule and evaluate workload performance of the design team members. Mentor the design team and introduce innovative methods of creative architectural design. Provide solutions in technical and artistic aspects of architectural design. Motivate and influence design team to constantly strive for excellence. Provide influencing ideas to enhance department productivity. Ensure that the design is compliant with municipality rules and other relevant codes. Manage design processes to ensure timely delivery of designs. Convey and presents design concepts to various internal and external audiences. Overlook required approvals such as ADDC, ADCD, ADM and Landlord approval. Ensure the accuracy of material and furniture specifications before placement of orders. Ensure the accuracy of all technical drawings to be released at job site. Make periodic visits to the project sites and create inspection and progress reports. Lead and direct work intake and overall design project assignment process. Meet new vendors, suppliers and manufacturers. Accomplish any additional tasks imposed by the General Manager.
