The Cognition and Cortical Dynamics Laboratory (CCDL)conducts research on the neural underpinnings of individual differences in cognitive and linguistic capabilities. Researchers are interested in the general mechanisms of cognitive flexibility and language comprehension ability.I was responsible for subject testing- ran python test and MRI procedure. I also analysed behavioural data and assisted in report writing.

The Pipeline Project is an outreach program that connects undergraduate students with the local primary and secondary school to provide mentoring and tutoring opportunities.My roles include preparing and organizing the Literacy Arts- Alternative Spring Break (LA ASB) and to promote education equality around the campus. As an ASB intern, I worked under the supervision of the program director and Americorp members to recruit 7 team leaders and 40 undergraduate students to take part in the ASB. My supervisor and I interviewed participants and created curriculums to train undergraduate students in teaching and classroom management.During Spring Break, we send 8 teams, each consist of 1 leader and 5 participants to different rural towns in WA. I led my team to Mattawa and worked with 80 Grade 5 students in writing and publishing their own books.

Asia society is an educational organization dedicated to promote mutual understanding between Asia and the United State. The organization promotes and addresses issues such as arts, business and education.I led a photography workshop during Annie Leibovitz in Hong Kong and assisted directors in preparation of Steve McCurry and Brian Brake's Afghan Girl exhibition and recorded with 500 people attending at the opening night.I designed logos and certificates for 'Visioning in the Dark' a program dedicated to people with vision disability. I was also given the responsibility to create seven promotion videos for the Asia Society to present to potential sponsors.

During my two months internship in Art Central, I worked alongside with the marketing director and fair assistant leading up to Art Central (March 23-26, 2016). I assisted with press release writing and creating websites for visitors to sign up for talk events during the fair. During the fair, I worked as a full-time intern stationed at the inquiry and ticket collection desk. I was visitor's first point of contact throughout the fair which I was responsible for answering various questions from visitors, and guiding them through the fair. The job required me to stay professional and well-put when there were misunderstandings and question from the fair visitors.

During my two months internship in Hong Kong Art Gallery Association, I worked alongside with the general manager and manager assistant. My job focused on admin task. I kept the social media up to date, answering inquiries through emails and responsible for contacting galleries for upcoming exhibitions. I was also responsible for coming up with strategies to promote different art events such as researching for potential sponsors and meeting up sponsors with the general manager.

During my two months internship as HK Art Gallery Week project intern, I worked closely with the manager and project officer in the build up for the gallery week (Nov 1-Nov 7, 2015). I was responsible for volunteers recruitment, where I reached out to different international schools and universities in Hong Kong to seek helpers. I created training programs and visited artists to share technique on art critique with the volunteers. During the gallery week, I was for allocating roles to 40 volunteers, and writing press releases.
