I joined our in-house Agile development team and found my happy place.I continue to assess the impact of legislative change on existing software, customers, operational processes, and procedures. I've also learned how to identify and develop user stories from requirement models created during business analysis.Amongst other projects, in a true agile fashion (facing unprecedented lockdown challenges) we launched Covid 19 Business Debt Hibernation scheme in record time of 46 days from the concept to delivery. The scheme helped kiwi businesses to stay afloat during the pandemic.

An opportunity came up to manage our customers through a complex transition, when the Companies Office decided to fully replace New Zealand's highest priority business register, the Personal Property Securities Register.This Register supports a peak load of 5 transactions per second across webUI and API channels with 99% availability requirement and is used by many industries, from major financial institutions, such as banks and finance companies to second-hand car buyers and sellers.I developed sound change implementation strategies, training plans and communications channels that resulted in a seamless big bang go-live to over 200 API and 10,000 webUI customers.

I was accountable for supporting legislative changes, business initiatives, and registry reform through professional, technical, and subject matter expertise.This is when my business analyst bulb first switched on and I was able to identify opportunities to improve processes and increase effectiveness of my peers. I enhanced compliance systems for all Companies Office registers and introduced automated reporting for all financial reporting entities in New Zealand, resulting in significant human resource efficiencies.
