I received my bachelor’s in accounting because I enjoyed seeing the number aspect of companies. I view accounting as a puzzle; everything should be systematic and rational. My goal-oriented nature is passionate about helping those who are result-driven. Despite working several years in the accounting field, I found myself yearning for a more impactful career. I changed my career to urban and regional planning because I want a meaningful job where I could contribute to creating sustainable, equitable, and inclusive communities. I enjoy analyzing the little details of designing a city while keeping in mind the bigger picture, formulating strategies to balance the interests of different groups in that region, and implementing these strategies to help meet a comprehensive vision for communities. When I am not working, I try to get as much fresh air and as little screen time as possible. I enjoy hiking, camping, strolling through the park/beach, listening to Podcasts, and going on more Target Run than I really should.
