My name is Agnes Simons Ventura, I am a current P2 student of the Pharm.D. program at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). Fallowing my associate degree achieved with honors at Broward College in 2016, since I always felt passionate about sciences, I decided to direct my academic life to the biological subject. Furthermore, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Biological Science at Florida International University in 2019. During my academic years I have gotten some experience in the medical field by working with insurances and performing administrative tasks. By starting the Pharmacy program at NSU I was very excited to start learning everything I could about the profession. I started by becoming an active member of the National Community Pharmacist Association (NCPA) organization. Also, as I am very interested in practicing in the hospital setting and learning about resident programs, I am planning to become a member of an organization related to hospital practice in the following years of the program. Likewise, I started working at CVS Pharmacy as an intern during summer of 2023.
