Technology is about people. It is created by people and - in one way or another - for people. That is why development and implementation of technology must begin and end with people in the centre and not the other way around.Specialised in medical anthropology and particularly technology, I am concerned with the human and ethical perspective of technology and health, and have worked with subjects like smart cities and open data; technology in eldercare; the relational aspects of robot use; fertility policies and technologies; and urban development, experiences and the citizens' right to the city.As a social anthropologist, I believe that the values and everyday-life of people together with their cultural and political contexts are crucial to consider when addressing current and future challenges. Together with an interdisciplinary approach based in both curiousity and critique, the most sustainable and fair solutions can be developed.• Qualitative methods - Interview, ethnographic fieldwork, participant observation, facilitation of workshops and teaching, alternative methods like object-elicitation and drawing as tools for interviewing and intervention as a research method.• Insights in robot- and welfare technology, and in demographic challenges for eldercare, particularly from a relational og ethical perspective • Anthropological sensibility to cultural contexts and differences, interconnectedness and human values and meaning making.• User involvement and citizen co-creation
