We built Cusp - a mental health and mindfulness community - with all our hearts and skin deep in the game. Our entire superstructure was built on a strong and enthusiastic base of volunteers!Our open-air events included experiences like Yoga-asanas, Kalaripayattu, Movement (inspired by Ido Portal), Breathing Exercises, Parkour, Dance Movement Therapy and more. We not only teamed up with the best facilitators from our country, but also organised international events with movement artists like Alberto Cisselo and circus artists David Barberry and Alice Muntz.As the pandemic started, and we were witnessing our UVP - open air experiential sessions - gone with the wind, we took a deep breath and tried to make sense of what was unfolding in front of us. Very quickly, our team showed agility and we decided on organising webinars on important mental health issues like 'Mind, Let's Talk - An Open Discourse On Mental Health', 'Conscious Parenting - It's Difficult, No Kidding', 'Mind Battles Media - A Session On Media Addiction' and starting online movement and mindfulness sessions.Then came our biggest challenge we had ever taken up -The 21 Days of Wellness Challenge, that we organised in collaboration with Appy - a Yoga instructor. Each person was encouraged to choose one habit, follow it though for this span and upload a video or a picture while tagging us. Along with Vasistha Pradhan, Cusp also directed a short video (from scratch, even the shots) as our campaign's lead media (Watch it here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CQwESGRFRLc/).When we look back and cherish those years, sometimes the memories bring back big laughs and at other times warmth and tears from the heart. I worked closely with the product team during my time at Being. Since Being is a mental health app, content was one of the cornerstones of our product. From the early days of having basic advice on our app, we took progressive leaps towards evolving the content to research based on-app support.
