About Andrew Goldner

I've been advising, running, founding and investing in startups since 1998, based in NYC, Hong Kong, Singapore, Palo Alto and Nashville. I kicked off my career when the Internet was first commercializing as a tech lawyer for Alta Vista, Yahoo, DoubleClick, Salesforce and other pioneers. When Google acquired DoubleClick, I co-founded a financial news business for the Thomson family, and when we acquired Reuters and became Thomson Reuters I became Publisher of Reuters News.I returned to the U.S. and to early-stage tech in 2012 joining Guidespark (acquired by Tivian) and BrightTalk (acquired by TechTarget). I then co-founded GrowthX to help B2B founders based in rising cities solve their toughest sales challenges. That’s how we identify investment opportunities. First we help. Then we invest. Together we rise.I'm a passionate long-distance runner. It's a treasured time to be alone with myself, to reflect on the prior week, to look forward to the week ahead, to count my blessings and to remain mindful of all that I have to be grateful for.
