Akifcan Gomec was born in 1989. He graduated from Huseyin Avni Sozen Anatolian Highschool. After completing his BSc degree on Civil Engineering in Istanbul Technical University in 2012, he finished two MSc degrees on Housing Production and Construction Management in Yildiz Technical University and Façade Design and Technology in Istanbul Technical University in 2018. In addition to his academic achievements, he started his career as Technical Office Engineer and then continued as Project Coordinator in their family business MATA YAPI INS. SAN. TIC. A.S. and ASYAL CEPHE SISTEMLERI LTD STI which are established in 1995 and 2008 respectively. To date, he continues to work in his family business as Board Member. The family firms have a broad field of activity including turnkey and contractor projects on residential, hotel, office, luxury retail, healthcare and urban transformation segments. In addition to his mother tongue Turkish, Akifcan Gomec also knows English and Russian. He is a member of Chamber of Civil Engineers since 2012.
