As a key contributor to LuxDev's MAE/023 Project, I actively advance the goal of leveraging the private sector to address challenges in developing countries and achieve Sustainable Development Goals. Launched in Feb 2023 under the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the initiative integrates three co-financing instruments: Business Partnership Facility, fostering collaborations; Challenge Fund, supporting innovative solutions; and Demonstration Projects, scaling proven innovations in pilot countries. The Project Leader's responsibilities include:• Monitor opportunities for collaboration with the private sector in the bilateral cooperation portfolio;• Conducting market systems or mapping studies to identify the most relevant opportunities for engagement with the private sector in relation to the cooperation objectives;• Conducting approaches to private sector actors to ascertain their readiness to take on relevant initiatives for cooperation;• Support the development of demonstration projects, in particular by ensuring that the private sector acts as an intermediary with the public authorities concerned;• Prepare the presentation reports of the initiated demonstration projects;• Conducting due diligence in accordance with the procedures proposed by the head office team and in compliance with the principles of "Responsible Business Conduct";• Ensure the animation of a network of partners;• Develop relationships with public research actors with a view to supporting the scientific supervision of experiments and demonstration projects;• Set up and develop operational action plans for prospecting, capitalisation and communication activities;• Ensure the technical and financial monitoring of the projects carried out in Kosovo and to provide technical support for the experiments and Business Partnership Facility projects carried out in the English-speaking area;• and more generally any activity aimed at achieving the objectives of the project.

Responsible for VET – private sector structured cooperation based on principles of structured dialogue with all relevant stakeholders actively included. Supports sustainable growth and development and competitiveness of Kosovo economy (on local and national level). Supports ALLED2 project VET providers towards excellency in VET through NQF/EQF relevant curriculum development and implementation (EU key competence framework applied); structured approach to teacher training (pre-service and in-service), school management excellence: teaching and learning excellence supported by relevant and efficient teaching/learning tools and equipment (WBL and RPL included). Support cross educational level cooperation and mobility between schools, training centres and local businesses in order to improve school to work transition.Leads and manages the process for development of VET Teachers and Trainers knowledge in the selected sectors in cooperation with the business sector representing the economy needs.Lead and facilitate strengthening of the cooperation between Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MEST) and Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare (MLSW) in conducting regular Labour Market Analysis as a planning tool for planning of education.

• Advising Minister of Economic Development on supporting renewable energy policy developments and compliance with the measures set out in the Renewable Energy EU Directives and the National Renewable Energy Action Plan of Kosovo.• Advising Minister of Economic Development on supporting energy efficiency policy developments including the operationalization of the Energy Efficiency Fund, projects for increasing the thermal energy capacities in Kosovo, etc.• Advising the Minister of Economic Development on matters related to implementation of Kosova e Re Power Plant commercial agreements and other matters related to energy sector and its impact on economic development; • Developing a Monitoring & Reporting Program for GOK entities reporting their progress in fulfilling their duties and obligations deriving from the Commercial Agreements, in coordination with PIU’s Commercial Expert;• Advising Minister of Economic Development on supporting policy developments on matters related to the performance of the Publicly Owned Enterprises, supporting compiling of monitoring reports on selective POEs in coordination with Monitoring Units of Publicly Owned Enterprises, working on the overall restructuring and repositioning of the unsustainable POEs, etc.• Advising Minister of Economic Development on drafting national policies and strategies in the field of ICT based on the Strategic documents such as "Digital Agenda for Kosovo 2013-2020" and the "National IT Strategy"

Planning and implementing activities to support private sector opportunities for non-majority communities in target municipalities through job creation and support to entrepreneurs. Substantial networking and outreach in order to source and evaluate such opportunities, to design programs providing the technical support needed to carry them forward, and to facilitate their financing.
