At WSP, Adam co-led the NYC commissioning group. The commissioning team provides new building commissioning and energy consulting services. Adam managed relationships with a wide breadth of clients, from the NYC local government and real-estate management firms, and directed the daily activities of the commissioning engineering staff.

Adam was hired to grow the energy modeling business at HEA, collaborating with architects and engineers to conduct detailed whole building energy simulations of their building designs to guide and improve energy performance. Through this analysis, over a dozen buildings achieved LEED certification.Adam was voted Employee of the Year in 2010, shortly after joining the organization.

Adam worked as technical supervision of formulation and packaging lines at the El Paso manufacturing facility. In addition to normal duties, Adam led upgrade projects including: a redesign of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime due to equipment failures, a revision to the changeover method to reduce cleaning times between product runs, and the installation of critical sensors and infrastructure to improve worker safety.

Adam developed algorithms for US Navy Zumwalt-class destroyers (DDG-1000 program) to reconfigure piping systems around damaged ship areas and allow critical systems to remain online. To validate these algorithms, Adam created custom data analysis tools using MATLAB to evaluate algorithm success rates for both field tests and simulations, allowing data driven design optimization
