I love working on complex legacy (and new) software systems: maintaining, extending, and upgrading them. I've moved a large codebase from Python 2 to Python 3, migrated revenue-critical serving systems to new platforms, and rewrote the Linux backend for Chromium Web MIDI.I spent three years as an engineering manager, but prefer now to work as an individual contributor and mentor others on my team.
