About Ahmed Radwan

Prof. Ahmed G. Radwan (SMIEEE, Fellow-AAS) is the Vice-President for Research and Dean of Graduate Studies, Nile University, Egypt. Previously he was Center Director of NISC Research center (Nile University), Acting Dean of Engineering (Nile University), Director of TCCD center (Cairo University), Counselor (IEEE-NUSB), Postdoc Fellow (KAUST, Saudi Arabia) Visiting Professor (McMaster Univ., Canada). He is the Founder of NILES International Conference https://www.nilesconf.org, and Undergraduate Research Forum (UGRF) https://ugrf.nu.edu.eg/. He has more than 480 indexed publications, +11000 citations and 55 H-index according to Scopus. He is Co-inventor of 6 US patents, author/co-author of 10 international books and 26 book chapters in the highly ranked publishers. Prof. Radwan form the leading professors in the fractional-order (T.21555) and chaotic circuits tracks worldwide. He is an associate editor in 4 prestigious Scopus-indexed journals. Some of his prestigious Awards: The State Encouragement Award, The State Excellence Award, Abdul Hameed Shoman Award, Scopus Award in Engineering and Technology, Prof. Tarek Khalil Award for Distinguished Leadership from Nile university and many more. He was a member of many international/national scientific committees/councils (MC Observer to COST Action CA15225 (COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology)). He was selected as a member in national applied research council (ASRT-Egypt), and national committee of mathematics (ASRT-Egypt), Technical Committee member in nonlinear circuits& systems (IEEE-CAS), Egyptian mathematical society, and fractional calculus and applications group. He was selected as one out of 15-top researchers in national-level in all disciplines for the first councils of Egyptian Young Academy of Sciences (EYAS) and one from 40 experts in the Egyptian Center for the Advancement of Science, Technology and Innovation (ECASTI). He managed funded projects with budgets of over 1M$ and supervised more than 40 (Master's & Ph.Ds) where 10 of them received the best thesis from their universities in different research tracks. Last year he was nominated to be Africa Representative in the International Olympiad Committee in Engineering Sciences, Greece 2023, He has been included in the Stanford 2% list for both the single/whole career in the last 5 consecutive years.
