I was responsible for Pre-Bid Engineering for AIS and GIS switchyard of Green field and Brown field nature up to 765KV in India and 500KV in Brazil. I looked after the gamut of responsibilities pertaining to the drawing up of project plans, scheduling of activities, budget, & cost estimates, planning, mobilizing of resources to deliver the requisites within defined time and costliness. Prepare specifications and other tender documentation and produce clear and concisely written reports. Carry out through and robust technical review of work by EPC and consultants for tendering. Performing coordination tasks with various project stakeholders to freeze the project constraints, requirements and interface issues Produce designs, volumes and quantities as required for tender submission such that upon contract award, the budget, programmed and specification can be achieved. Evaluate Equipment drawings and their schematics. Develop project design alternatives and corresponding cost estimates. Maintain relationships with key vendors and develop new relationshipsProjects Undertaken1) Business Acquisition-Engineering activities for 16 no. projects in Brazil with site visits, BOQ preparation, offer reviews from different vendors, vendor negotiation.2) Pre Bid Engineering activities like site visit, BOQ preparation, Offer review of 17 no. 220/132/33 KV and 132/33 KV AIS Substation (RRVPNL Project)3) Electrical Detailed Design and Engineering of 2 no. greenfield 400/132 KV AIS Substation and 3 no. extension substation (NER-IIB&V Project)4) Other 765 KV, 400 KV, 220 KV, 132 KV and 33 KV Projects undertaken during pre bid for UP, MP and Gujarat.

I was responsible for the erection of Substation/ Transmission Line upto 400KV.  Site coordination, construction activities and providing technical inputs for best methodologies of construction practice. Liaison with external agencies, regulatory bodies, consultants, contractors/vendors for determining technical specifications, approvals for execution & obtaining on-time clearances which includes forest & environment clearances. Follow up the project from start to finish and make any necessary changes along the way, ensuring that the procedure is being followed while checking the safety features of the project during the time it is being completed. Witness FAT and final inspection for products at vendor premises.Projects Undertaken1) Execution of 400/220 KV GIS Substation Amargarh (NRSS-29 Project)2) Execution of Kharagpur-Chaibasa 400 KV D/C Transmission Line (PKTCL project) 3) O&M of 765/400 KV AIS Bhopal Substation (BDTCL project)
