Vineet is managing this project. 12 BART stations with related substations, parking garages, and equipment rooms have been identified for FAS replacement. The existing FAS serving the stations is original to the station's construction in 1972, is out of date, and is well beyond its normally anticipated useful lifespan. In addition, it does not meet the current requirements of the governing codes and standards. The work under Vineet include PS&E, construction, and construction management. Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor Project, Design Build Project,LACMTA, Los Angeles. As Deputy Systems Design Manager, Vineet was responsible for preparing plans for traction power, communications, train control, and overhead catenary system during design confirmation phase. Vineet also chaired System Integration/Fire Life Safety/Systems Assurance Task Force meetings.BART to Warm Springs (WSX Project), BART, Oakland, CA – As a senior technical advisor, Vineet developed Test Plan that contains factory, field, and system integration testing requirements. Planned as an I-ETMS compatible overlay upon the existing FRA approved CTC system. The segment is 60.3 miles long with different passenger and freight rails operating on them. Performed FTA mandated Risk Analysis and Transit Capacity for the MBTA (Silverline Phase III) and LAMCTA (Westside Subway Extension and Regional Connector). Conducted 30-Year Rehabilitation and Upgrade Program Study for BART. The study was performed on Traction Power, Train Control, and Communications Systems.Prepared the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) cost estimate for the proposed eBART DBOM (Design, Build, Operate, Maintain) contract. Served as a System Integrator in the preliminary system design on the MUNI Third Street Light Rail Project for Phase II. Conducted a study on the existing PA system for Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). I was also involved with the Translink Project, now known as Clipper. Performed risk analysis for the operations and maintenance (O&M) Cost of the AirTrain to San Francisco International Airport (SFO). -
