Calling upon years of experience building technical benches and VMware routes-to-market through a two-tier channel system, I worked nationwide with Solution Providers to develop End-User Computing service delivery practices. Modeling these practices against the culture of the Solution Provider and their specific business disciplines is essential. I developed a successful framework based upon educating the technical bench and sales team, mentoring them in the field, then developing routes to market through Marketing and VMware Sales teams. Authoring and conducting educational workshops was a fun and engaging part of this role for me. It also served to build a pipeline with months of productive interest and business activity.

Successfully developed sales pipeline and accelerated the technical validation efforts of the VMware Global Account Team. Managed customer technical evaluations to ensure properly design, configuration, and execution for a successful and influential outcome. I led workshops with my customers to design executive showcases that were used to garner budget and influence company-wide innovation. Channel and ecosystem partners were engaged to add value when integrating technical third-party solutions and offerings with VMware proofs-of-concept. As a VMware Cloud Architect I am chartered with building the VMware Service Provider (VSPP) ecosystem in the northeast region of the United States. In this capacity I guide the IT leadership of various Service Providers, helping them to architect competitive SMB and Enterprise class Public / Hybrid cloud solutions offerings. These solutions include but are not limited to IaaS, SaaS, DRaaS, development clouds, High-Governance clouds often requiring integration with ecosystem technologies.In addition, I often provide my customers with education, industry perspectives and consultation on go-to-market strategies. This includes appearing at demand generation events as a speaker or presenter.

As a technical business consultant to VMware’s volume resellers (Corporate Tier) and Distribution resellers, I worked closely with VMware Partner Business Managers. Complementing their sales and marketing focus with technical depth and practice building experience, my charter is to increase the scope and rate of VMware sales through strategic transformation of our reseller’s business. I also served as an educator and mentor to the funded staff provided to our partners. As an accredited VMware educator, I trained thousands of channel staff and customers on basic and advanced topics in venues such as Partner Exchange, NJTC CIO conferences, SolutionTrack seminars, pod casts, and demand generation events. In my tenure, I authored internal whitepapers, guides, partner management portals, and pioneered successful Bootcamp initiatives that were later adopted by the Partner Enablement Team.
