• As member of the EUN management team: Participate in the Organisation’s management meetings; Forecast time allocation of whole office; Created travel regulations; Launched EUN-TEDx like presentations; Represented EUN at meetings with Ministries of Education and industry. • As Programme manager / Head of the Science Education Department: In charge of overseeing all EUN's Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) projects, leading the Science team and managing the STEM projects’ annual budget (9 to 20 parallel projects, line managing 10 to 25 staff and 1M€ to 2 M€, depending on the year). Also involved in the sustainability of the STEM agenda of EUN (looking for funding opportunities, writing proposals, meeting with policy makers and industry). Overall aim: Ensure exploitation of economies of scale and reduce coordination costs and risks across all projects. Advise / supervise project managers on the implementation of their projects. Coach and mentor staff, manage performance and professional development. Main interest: long-term aggregated results. • As Project manager: ensuring EC projects like Scientix (the Community for science education in Europe), and Industry financed projects like The European Science Fairs Evaluation Framework (an Intel – EUN initiative) are delivered on time, to budget and to specification. Additional tasks: management of School piloting of project ECB / inGenious and managing EUN’s involvement in additional projects like Pathway, UniSchooLabS and Nanochannels. Tasks involved: o Management of the teams involved and implementation of work packages. o Liaising with the different partner organizations. o Writing action plans for work packages, with technical, organizational and implementation details. o Writing deliverables and management of projects’ budgets.

• Coordinate the European Commission (EACEA) funded project Inspire, formed by a consortium of four organisations (EUN, BMUKK, Thillm and Educonsult), consisting of a limited validation observatory where 60 schools accross Europe use, test and analyse the use of new didactical tools in the field of MST. Tasks involved: - Coordinate the implementation of work packages.- Liaise with the different partners of the project.- Write action plans for work packages, with technical, organizational and implementation details. • Coordinate Xperimania II, the 2nd year of the Xperimania project, an Appe funded project on inquiry-based science education aiming to help students and teachers to understand the wide variety of applications of petrochemistry. Tasks involved: - Write proposal for Xperimania II, including activities descriptions. - Coordinate the implementation of work packages.- Liaise with the different partners of the project.- Write action plans for work packages, with technical, organizational and implementation details. • Support the coordination of EUN's tasks for the EYE project (Evaluation of the Environment for Young Europeans website), subcontract to Gellis Communications European Commission DG Env funded project. Tasks involved: - Coordinate the National Coordinators and schools participation on the surveys- Serve as consultant in the design of the retesting phase of the surveys- Co-organize retesting phase (website design, survey design and implementation, dissemination, collection of results)• Support and provide input on other MST related projects of EUN and new projects-proposals.
