About Adrienne Guevara Hugo, M.Ed.
As a dual immersion teacher at Redondo Beach Unified School District (RBUSD) for over eight years, I have a passion for fostering bilingualism and multiculturalism in elementary students. I have founded the third and fourth grade levels in a 90/10 Spanish dual immersion model, and have taught a fourth/fifth grade combination class for five years now.I have a Master of Education degree from Loyola Marymount University, and I am skilled in universal design for learning (UDL), social studies, leadership, and Spanish translation and teaching. I continuously collaborate with various teams to better serve our students, and participate in different leadership and instructional committees. I design and evaluate curriculum in both English and Spanish that meets my students' needs and supports their strengths. I also maintain consistent communication with students and parents regarding their academics and socio-emotional well-being.
