I have developed and participated in several research projects, in the areas of wind energy, wind engineering and computational fluid mechanics.Through the execution and processing of numerical simulations, I have investigated characteristics of the operation of wind farms, evaluating among other things: the wakes of the wind turbines and their effect on the global power production, subject to different configurations and atmospheric conditions (speed and direction of wind); the operation of a wind farm subject to a power restriction, identifying and implementing different strategies followed by wind turbines to reach the target power, and quantifying the amount of energy that is no longer generated.I have also carried out SCADA data processing and analysis of wind farms, and of meteorological variables recorded by stations distributed in the country, collaborating with advances in the characterization of the country's extreme wind climate.---------------------------He elaborado y participado en varios proyectos de investigación, en las áreas de la energía eólica, ingeniería del viento y la mecánica de fluidos computacional. Mediante la ejecución y procesamiento de simulaciones numéricas he investigado características de la operación de parques eólicos, evaluando entre otras cosas: las estelas de los aerogeneradores y su efecto en la producción global de potencia, sujeto a distintas configuraciones y condiciones atmosféricas (velocidad y dirección de viento); la operación de un parque eólico sujeto a una restricción de potencia, identificando e implementando distintas estrategias seguidas por los aerogeradores para alcanzar la potencia objetivo, y cuantificando la cantidad la energía que se deja de generar.
