Conduct research in the AMBAR materials science undergraduate group, focusing on energy production.- Aug 2024 - present: Researching hydrogen splitting for fuel production through artificial photosynthesis. This includes analyzing the S3 state structure of the Kok cycle in Photosystem II by studying Mn-based model compounds.- Feb 2023 - Nov 2023: Conducted research on hydrogen generation, fuel production, and waste disposal using plasma gasification of municipal wastes. This involved computational simulations of a plasma reactor.- Feb 2021 - Nov 2022: Investigated hydrogen generation through experiments on the heterogeneous photocatalysis of TiO2, focusing on the decomposition of NOx and CO2.

Led preliminary research on plasma-assisted gasification of municipal waste, focusing on the sanitary situation at the "La Pradera" landfill in Antioquia, Colombia. The goal was to provide alternatives for waste disposal and energy generation from the process. Our project received a perfect score distinction in the RedColSI undergraduate research category.

Guided students on various technical subjects, including instrumentation and basic electronics, microcontroller programming, and material resistance and electromagnetic conductivity simulation using Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Additionally, I assisted students in the practical construction and operation of functional gravimeters and vibrometers, ensuring they gained hands-on experience and understanding in these areas.

Bridged communication between university administration and undergraduate students, advocating for student rights, participating in school councils, and devising strategies to address educational issues.

Conducted Raman Resonance measurements on protein and materials for artificial photosynthesis at Prof. Pushkar's Group.

Participated as a member of the power microsubsystem within the electronics subsystem for the Electro-Solar Vehicle (VES) project. My responsibilities included assembling power systems that integrated solar panels, batteries, accessories, and motors. I also ensured compliance with power regulations for the "Ilumen European Solar Challenge".

Coordinated student welfare activities for the undergraduate program in Physics Engineering at EAFIT University, as well as other activities related to scientific outreach and appreciation.

Designed and conducted workshops on science and socio-cultural activities for adolescents and children, coordinating strategies to promote scientific outreach and the social appropriation of knowledge among these groups.
