Aguirre oversees ResortCom's properties in Mexico for divisions Tapestry Resorts, a full-service hospitality solutions company, and LaTour Hotels and Resorts, which offers personalized luxury hospitality management services for four- and five-star properties worldwide.He is directly responsible for properties in San Miguel, Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita, Huatulco, as well as developments managed by Tapestry Resorts in South America and Puerto Rico. He will oversee and is responsible for all resort and HOA management activities in Latin America, which includes the operation and development of the company’s rental program. In addition, Aguirre will supervise the Latin American properties of LaTour Signature Group, LaTour Hotels and Resorts’ elite private label that is limited to five-star developments.

Quality: Aguirre oversaw guest satisfaction surveys for all of the Vacation Club hotels (Vacation Experience), surveys from members (after reservation) and Mystery Shoppers for sales; monitored call centers via taped calls and chats; introduced a Net Promoter Score (NPS) index to improve business credibility; monitored 25 websites to detect threats to Royal Holiday; and managed PR agencies and the relationship with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). As RCI’s director for product development in Latin America, Aguirre was responsible for the development of multiple strategic alliances and the creation of distribution channels for lead generation programs. He implemented the RCI Points program and the RCI Travel Club in Latin America.

Aguirre helped create a new charter airline. Reporting directly to the carrier’s board of directors, he developed major alliances with International Tour Operators and instituted an operational plan based on targeted customers supported with an acquisition strategy.

Aguirre managed sales in North America for 46 hotel properties. He was instrumental in the integration of the various brands that the hotel company operated and contributed to the consolidation of strategic alliances with major tour operators.

Aguirre’s in-depth knowledge of markets, combined with his negotiating skills, continually achieved sales beyond budget goals at Maeva Hotels & Resorts. Through his unique skill sets and team approach, he led Maeva to become one of the largest selling all-inclusive brands in Mexico and recipient of the Reader’s Digest “Pegasus” Award.

At Hoteles Camino Real, Aguirre developed client retention programs (Westin Premier) and alliances (OnePass).

Among his many achievements at FONATUR/SECTUR, Aguirre instrumented a product marketing approach for each destination (Cancun, Ixtapa, Los Cabos, Loreto, Huatulco) and played a key role in the negotiations of the U.S. airline bilateral agreements. He also introduced measurement tools such as the Barómetro Turístico and Perfil de Visitantes.
