From teaching to strategising and managing our courses and staffing, I have been working for the School of InfoComm Technology for almost 20 years.I have taken up many roles and responsibilities over the year, from lecturing, designing instruction and learning to computer society advising, internship program managing, staffing and course managing, strategising, and positioning.Working alongside with my colleagues in the School, we designed and developed the curriculum of the two creative Diploma courses, Multimedia & Animation, and Animation & 3D Art. We executed the plan and brought them from zero to two most popular creative courses during the yearly polytechnic Joint Admission Exercise (JAE) and Direct Polytechnic Admission Exercise (DPA).We have also secured many MOU collaboration with our industry partners, such as Unity Technologies, Toon Boom Animation, Shooting Gallery as well as partnership with external clients for game, interactive media, and animation concept development and production.We have created a work-based learning environment to support the deep learning concept we have built into our curriculum, and introduced master classes in our courses to strengthen our students' learning from the practical real world perspectives.
