I work as an International Trade Operator Specialist for Argentina, Brazil, and Chile for the P&SP biz. The role focuses on monitoring all imports and exports, working closely with the Freight Forwarders of those countries (SSB-BDP), brokers (Pibernat-Interlog-Guerra Agency), and air, dray, and ocean carriers. The tasks include:• Lead Imports and Exports operational issues, giving support with custom documentation, HS codes, FTA, government, and bank regulations. • Provide consultation on trade and tariff global agreement matters for LAA countries.• Participate weekly in the virtual meetings of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber of the Chemical and Petrochemical Industry.• Work with tax, legal teams, and external law firms regarding ITO issues.• Search for process improvements and savings, working together with Logistics, Purchasing, CSR, Customs, Planning, and ITO´s from other regions.• Create, update, and grant MOC.• MPC Focal Point: ensure compliance with LAA's global service standard clauses. Review and update MPC forecasts and share with the carriers monthly.• Co-lead LAA MPC Pillar. Become a reference of the modal. Implement new WP for MPC P&SP team, helping in the escalation process implementation and ensuring that any potential issue gets addressed and corrected accordingly.• Monitor KIPs, specially OTD6, identify gaps and seek and propose solutions that generate value for the operation. • Review the operational performance of external providers monthly or quarterly, driving ongoing service improvements.• Hydrocarbon-Bulk operations: Monitor compliance with Customs Authorization Process for unloading Octene and Hexene and loading Pygas.

I have been selected as ITO Import/Export Specialist for South Region LAA for the P&SP biz. The role is focus on monitoring all exports from Argentina, working closely to the freight forwarder and the ocean carriers, giving support for MPC documentation issues across LAA and ensure compliance with the global service standard clauses. The responsibilities includes making improvements of the processes and follow up the metrics working together with the whole Logistics’, purchasing dept, ITO and planning teams in the region.

I joined the engineering department to take on the role of Project Cargo. I acted as the focal point responsible for the imports of the High-Pressure Plant Rebuild Project, totalizing circa U$S 15 MM in orders, a hit recognized by the headquarters in Midland. In a very challenging import regime, we also successfully completed more than twenty projects in five years.The tasks included:• Manage the whole process for capital projects, from PO issue, import license, and certificates regarding HS codes, until the goods are clear from customs and arrive at the factory. • Interact with the whole Project Team from Argentina and abroad, suppliers, warehouses, inspectors (Bureau Veritas), customs, and international and national freight companies.• Understand the priority of each purchase order to match the project schedule.• Provide consultation on matters related to GATT: HS codes and duties, for Project Gates, basically for Gate 6.• Support on payment issues, informing Project Managers, CSR, and suppliers regarding the changes in international trade regulations announced by the government.

I started in Customer Service Department as Freight Forwarder´s first in-house in Bahia Blanca, managing all Import and Export operations for PBB POLISIUR plants. I was responsible for the following:• MRO and ES imports coordination and follow-up.• Monitor compliance with the import process: license requests, documentation delivery, and freight coordination.• Manage temporary Imports and Exports, ensuring compliance with the Temporary Destination Regime. • Import License control suffixes based on photograph reports from NAA and EUA warehouses.• Work with plant technologist to ensure MIGO generation in SAP and enable the Dow APAY team to proceed with payment flow.• Give support on matters related to trade and tariffs.• Support CSR Dow team on Incoterms negotiation.

Manage Imports and Exports of dry and perishable cargo for the company and external clients. The role included:• Interact with clients, suppliers, brokers, and international and local freight companies.• Fill in bank forms to perform wire transfers to pay formal imports and couriers.• Issue and sign Export Destination Authorization Certificates for SENASA (National Service for Food Health and Quality)• Complete, update, and sign Good Practices Manual for SENASA quarterly audits.• Apply for DJAI (import license) and all certificates based on the specifications of each product Hs- codes.• Participate in international trade fairs with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Relations & International Trade of the Argentine Republic (www.cancilleria.gob.ar). We have exhibited in Russia: WorldFood Moscow and Brazil: APAS- Paulista Supermarket Association.
