CurrentProf. Dr. Agustín Zerón, He received his DMD from the University of Mexico (UNAM). He later received his certificate in Endo-Periodontology (1a Gen. UNAM). He subsequently completed training in Implantology, and Genomic Medicine. Dr. Zeron is a professional communicator, has lectured for both national and international audiences. An eminent speaker, having given over 560 forums. His research has received the Asociación Mexicana de Periodontología highest recognition for excellence (Reach Award). He is a winning professor for contests in graduate and postgraduate programs with more than 40 years of academic life in five universities. In his academic production is an author of more than 130 scientific articles and publications, and authored 4 books and 9 chapters in specialized books. Dr. Zeron serves on the editorial board of multiple publications, including Editor in Chief of the Revista ADM. He has served as president of numerous dental organizations, including the Asociación Mexicana de Periodontología, Asociación Dental del D.F. Past President International College of Dentists, and Vice-president Asociación Dental Mexicana. Is a Founding Professor and chair in Periodontology, in postgraduate program, UIC Mexico City (1992-2017). He is KOL and consultant for dental several companies and professional organizations. His lectures are to focus on topics centered on the prevention and the impact of diseases that have the oral cavity beyond.
