Hi there! I'm Andrea García-Vargas (you can call me Dre). I'm based in New York City and work on the marketing team at Gusto, a modern, online people platform that helps small businesses take care of their teams. Previously to that, I worked in audience development at Discovery Communications, under the Digital Networks division, with my work on one of the YouTube channels being recognized with a Shorty and Webby nomination. Once, I wrote and curated for Upworthy, where I brought in 23.4 million pageviews in just over a year. And wrote a column for Mic, which got me interviews with CNN and shout-outs in Slate, Washington Post, and the Dish by Andrew Sullivan. I also had a stint as a blogger at Bustle.
