Directorate of Survey (Air) & Delhi Geo-spatial Data CentrePosting: Field Wing, Pushpa Bhawan, Survey of India→ Engaged in the surveying and mapping of rural districts in Uttar Pradesh by using data obtained from drones operated by the Survey of India as part of Survey of Villages Abadi & Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas (SVAMITVA) initiative, a Central Sector Scheme of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj.→ Specialized in image-processors like Pix4Dmapper and Agisoft Metashape to convert a bunch of smaller images and raw data points into a consolidated image with scale accuracy using a few ground control points.→ Employed ArcGIS and QGIS tools to demarcate residential properties, water bodies, roads, etc., to ensure smoother documentation, rural planning, as well as propose an integrated property validation solution for these districts.
