Network And Data Center Infrastructure Team Lead ( Outsource)
Current• Leading the process of planning and development of complex enterprise network architecture across Data Center and Backbone network.• Collaborating with technical support engineers L2 and L1 giving them necessary support in installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing and new network and security infrastructure solutions. • Operating and ensuring maximum high availability and resiliency for Data Center Core devices and services which include FWs, Application controls, Backbone devices and WAN Routers & Switches in addition to serving more than 40K users across the university campuses along with more than 25 branches. • Successfully lead many migration projects for Data Center, which include (DC legacy servers to Cisco Hyperflex & VMware), (Cisco IP Telephony systems V9.1on MCS7845 to V11.5 on virtualized servers ) and (DC redesign including migration of FWs and Load Balancers ). • Successfully lead many projects like VDI, Wireless, CCTV, and new college’s infrastructure.• L3 troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, FWs, LTM, Wireless with ISE and CCTV system. • Responsible for follow-up the Business continuity plan and make sure the main services are replicated to the DR using Veeam Backup and Replication. • Leading the process of all Request-For-Proposals (RFPs) technical writing which relates to Data Center infrastructure and branches then evaluating all submitted technical and financial proposals.• Assist in the planning of all additional network and security needs to accommodate all future IT growth and expansion by doing the necessary research, meeting with vendors and partners.• Maintaining necessary documentation for infrastructure configurations, operating procedures, and making sure to keep them up-to-date.• Train and mentor the new members.
