Hadj is a well-respected senior professional with 20+ years of international enterprise leadership experience spanning Recruiting, HR and Retail. Before all that, he worked in the music industry as a studio owner, event manager, lecturer and creative industries consultant to the EU following his Masters in Sound Design and Electroacoustic Composition. Getting back to his first love - he recently founded Play All Day, a company building experiences and music instruments that encourage play and fun.Play All Day will soon launch its first project - think along the lines of a retreat for people interested in listening to and playing with sound and music from natural and modern sources - all with the aim of learning creative skills to support happier mental wellbeing. Guests will enjoy Sound Walks among protected natural habitats, delight in the fully catered food (if you know Hadj you’ll know that this part is very important…) and relax… because everything takes place on the beautiful island of Mallorca. Supported by major music instrument brands like Soma Labs, AIAIAI, Signal Sounds, We Are Rewind, Strymon and 1010 Music - and featuring guest facilitators from the music industry, we hope our Ambient Sound & Music Retreats (acronym alert 😉) are going to give lots people a fun and playful experience. The second project is due to follow closely afterwards. PlayFader is a 2-channel performance looper that’s designed to make playing with synthesisers fun and intuitive. Currently in its final testing phase, launch date is set for September 30th. Stay tuned for more details very soon. Skilled at innovating, he is a high-level strategist who loves the details, balancing analytics and intuition to provide holistic solutions and programs. He previously led Global Recruiting Operations at Roku Inc. looking after all technology, process, policy and coordination requirements for the in-house Talent Acquisition team of 150+ while growing the Ops team to 24, located from California to Taiwan. Before that he was at Apple for 15 years where he led the European Recruiting Operations function and numerous Apple Retail Stores. Hadj is also a Non-Executive Director, supporting new businesses focused on the future of work.But music is his first love and he’s thrilled to be focusing on it again with Play All Day.
