In this role, I work as part of the Appease Apex SEO department, acting as the senior channel expert for the accounts within my team, ranging from a worldwide banking client to a well-loved UK icon, with over 10k locations. I also contribute to defining the overall channel proposition (including spearheading the creation and development of our Local SEO product) and developing the marketers within my direct pod and across the wider company.

In this role, I led the award-winning SEO team for a global B2B giant, overseeing organic search strategy across over 100 markets and for over 3000 brick-and-mortar locations.Key highlights include:- Improved SEO performance for a key international client from 20% down YoY to 25% up, increasing channel revenue by 30%.- Doubled Google Places traffic and enquiries in less than 6 months, generating over 300k more visits a year than before.- Nominated three times for my team’s work (one of which we won) across The Drum and UK / European Search Awards.I was also accountable for overseeing the on-boarding of new clients, devising processes for our team’s work-streams and managing tools, people and new talent requirements across our organic performance team.
