Overall responsibility for new business and customer sales activity throughout the UK, Europe and ASIAPAC. This also involves the strategic planning associated with new vertical markets and geographies as well as partner, reseller and marketing programs.

I am responsible for all new business activity in the Southern UK region where the focus is on providing reservation systems to tour operators (mass market & specialist), bedbanks and On-Line Travel Agents (OTA's). Sales campaigns are lengthy (min 6 months) and complex. Negotiations are held at Board level and licence revenues will range from £100,000 up to in excess of £10million.

I was responsible for 10 of Worldspan’s top 30 UK agency customers.I had annual P&L responsibility for circa $10 million of revenue (2 million segments). My main objective was to retain and re-contract my clients at the end of each contract term. Due to the strategic importance of each of my accounts, the internal level of contact was either Chief Executive or Managing Director. I had an Account Manager reporting to me who was responsible for day to day operational and technical support.

For the last 6 years at AXS-One I was the UK Business Development Manager for Travel responsible for the AXS-One e-Delivery Service. My role involved selling to the all UK tour operators cruise & ferry companies, establishing and maintaining relationships with the regulatory bodies (CAA & ABTA), agent registration and on-going product development.The AXS-One e-Delivery Service was a B2B electronic document delivery solution between tour operators and travel agents. By the time I left AXS-One I had contracted 80 tour operators / brands. Annual revenue was in excess of £650,000 and this was expected to increase to £1M. Those tour operators using the AXS-One e-Delivery included TUI, First Choice, MyTravel, Thomas Cook, Virgin Holidays, Cosmos, Travel 2/4, Libra, Balkan, Kosmar, Inghams, Olympic and Titan.

New Business Sales Executive selling JBA's ERP application software solution called System 21. I did four years on quota achieving target three times and in 1994 I was the top performing new business UK sales executive. Annual targets were in the region of £300,000 for application licences.

New Business Sales Executive with UK responsibility for selling the Accord ERP solution based on IBM AS/400.Whilst at Accord I sold three new business deals ranging from 15 to 25 users each with an associated value from £100K to £200K.
