My professional life is driven by a combined passion for music, arts and culture, and the goal of promoting human rights, social wellbeing, and equality. I have pursued these through over 10 years of tertiary education, and 10 years of work in a range of research environments and settings including government, hospitals, primary care, schools, and university. I believe in interdisciplinary collaboration, and have strived to link important work being undertaken in different areas of society and academia, but which share similar goals for promoting human flourishing. In doing this, I have gained significant experience in all aspects of the research process: from conceptualising new and exciting directions and scoping opportunities, to disseminating and promoting findings once a project concludes; from managing projects, to being on the ground and collaborating with participants in data collection; from bringing together and managing diverse teams and stakeholder interests, to working independently to achieve research goals. I also have experience in a wide range research approaches and techniques, including qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research. I welcome any opportunities for future partnerships with those wanting to collaborate or engage in meaningful research, as well as social, and or artistic endeavours.
