I am responsible for receiving and storage of finished goods from our brewery in Onitsha at our dry depots in Delta and Edo states and the redistribution of these products to our customers. My region included Edo state, Delta state (Warri and Sapele) and Kogi state. Edo state was a virgin market for my company and I was responsible for both sales and distribution for 5 months and we managed to grow our sales volumes by above 400%. My primary responsibilities are currently warehousing and distribution of finished goods, fleet, security and site management.

I was responsible for the South-South & part of South-East regions of Nigeria. The brewery is based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State but my delivery coverage included Bayelsa, Delta (Warri), Cross River, Abia, Akwa Ibom and a portion on Anambra State. My fleet mix was 30% own transport and 70% hired transporters. My responsibilities included the safe storage and transportation of finished goods from the brewery to customers or off-site smaller depots and the return of empties. This also included Fleet and Security Management.

I was responsible for all operations in the terminal. The terminal received product via road, rail and pipe, had a storage capacity of above 40 000 kilo litres & product was despatched via road & rail. My terminal hosted both Shell & Sasol and there were a number of third party operators also lifting product from the site.
