I don't mean to brag, but that sign in the photo behind me and my wife, "Closed Saturdays"? Yeh, I wrote that. I also did all the guerrilla marketing work for a cafe I opened in the Mojave desert. It generated press from the NY Times, BBC1, AP, Industry Standard, Wired, and others, but my favorite write-up was the newspaper that called us "The only leftist coffee bar in the world with a military discount."And while I'd like to think all my employers' write-ups about me are true, that I'm a pleasure to work with, the calm one in the room during a crisis, supplying mission critical content under intense pressure... that's really what my character would play in the movie.Me IRL? Just a hardworking writer who's charmed some really talented and successful people into believing I write as well as I'd like to. Then he'll tell me how to fix it."But then sometimes a good line or idea gets killed, and that's when I'm glad I have no ego at all about the work.
