Area HR Manager supporting Southwest manufacturing facilities and DSCs.

• Maintain responsibility and oversee all employment actions including recruitment and selection, transfers and promotions for assigned University units• Review, update and approve personnel action requests• Coordinate recruitment strategies (including advertisement), educational programs and activities in the areas of EO/AA• Coordinate and perform new employee orientation• Advise departments on managing recruitment activities and creating timely and cost effective recruitment strategies for current and future searches as well as identify diverse sources• Consult with departments concerning: position needs and job description accuracy, applicant competencies, and procedures for requesting an employment action.
