I am a highly motivated Masters student holding a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in the field of Biotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark. Throughout my bachelors degree, I developed a passion for software, data, and machine learning through various coursework and a bachelor thesis with a focus on programming and bioinformatics. This has led my to my current pursuit of a Master of Science in Engineering in the field of Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence with a focus on machine learning. My academic background has allowed me to hone my skills in various programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, and R. I have experience developing software using agile methodologies and version control in a team-based setting through projects carried out during my bachelors degree. In my bachelor thesis, I gained valuable experience handling and analyzing extensive datasets through various workflows, collaborating with researchers to interpret the results. During my bachelors degree, I spent a year on exchange on École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland, where I immersed myself in my academic areas of interest while gaining an international network. As a person who is passionate about traveling, I thrive in international environments and I enjoy meeting new people from various backgrounds. I am proficient in teamwork and I am enthustiastic about aquiring new skills and applying my knowledge when solving problems. I enjoy academic as well as professional challenges, and I am looking forward to contributing my background and technical expertise to impactful projects in the realm of AI.
