- Conduct prior art searches and review of prior art cited in Office Actions issued by governmental patent offices- Conduct prior art searches and coordinate university entrepreneurial resources, including but not limited to Transactional Law Clinic, CIE, and University Libraries- Engage in technical writing for business development efforts including in the field of intellectual property and prior art assessment, an overview of prior scientific and development work, and commercial applications for licensing and or start-up efforts- Generate social media content to promote issued patents, technologies, and research

- Handled complete processing, drafting, and tracking of invention disclosures, attorneys’ fees, due diligence reports, and licensing agreements- Received State of Mississippi Notary certification- Oversaw complete auditing process of financial, personnel, legal documentation, and university-owned property- Received training for multiple patent review programs and Adobe Creative Suite- Started position as student worker before full-time position offer; May 2020 – April 2021- Retained intermittent status; August 2021 - August 2022

- Compared reviewed, and assisted with the official event and hotel contracts- Oversaw logistical planning for all athletic engagements- Served as coordinating liaison for annual Pro Camps on behalf of our department

- Organized legal correspondence, financial records, and the legal database- Operated the official university public relations outlets- Focused efforts on infringement reporting across social media and in-person vendors.
