I work at AI MINDSystems and am a well-known thought leader in digital health with a focus on health data use, exchange, and analytics in support of health system transformation. I helped plan and implement a very successful Direct Project boot camp with ONC and Deloitte staff.I worked as Health IT Evangelist at Mid-Columbia Medical Center. I also served as President of Gorge Health Connect, Inc. a non-profit health information exchange organization in the Columbia Gorge where we implemented one of the first Direct Project pilots. I assisted in forming the plans for HIE in Oregon and sat on the HIO Executive Panel and served as Chairperson of the Technology Workgroup for the Health Information Technology Oversight Council in Oregon. I served four years as a City Councilor and also served on the Board of Mid-Columbia Council of Government, and on Q-Life, an intergovernmental agency providing broadband capacity to northern Oregon.
