I am currently managing the Western region of our service department. In addition, I am the technical expert for the UniVerse and URIVerse projects for Copan Diagnostics, with eight direct report FSEs. In my role, I oversee the service side of our microbiology and molecular automation; including routine maintenance, repair, and installation to analytics, KPIs, and productivity reporting. One of my passions and largest tasks is building a foundation for engineer training and streamlining routine processes for the team. By building the core knowledge of our team I hope to provide an opportunity for engineers to grow and develop their careers both inside and out of our organization.Outside of work I am a husband of thirteen years to my fantastic wife and father to two children. We enjoy traveling, museums, outdoor adventures, and trying new restaurants. One passion of mine is encouraging my children to appreciate and enjoy the splendor and peacefulness of the outdoors. If I am not working or playing with my children you can find me at a local hangout with some friends or playing disc golf.I was previously the senior service technician in the Midwest region of Patterson Veterinary. For over four years I grew the service business into five additional metropolitan areas, requiring the hiring of three additional technicians to keep up with demand. In this role, I installed, repaired, and maintained medical equipment for veterinarians such as full-body x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, autoclaves, vital monitors, centrifuges, microscopes, IV pumps, surgical lights, and tables, in addition to training new technicians on how to properly install, repair, maintain, and use the equipment. Before my time with Patterson, I was a Biomedical Technicians for Lawrence Memorial Hospital. While there I learned a great many valuable skills and received manufacturer training from companies like Phillips Healthcare. LMH was the first company to give me a chance to use my skills in the Biomedical field based on my work ethic and positive attitude. My understanding of strict guidelines and state regulations from my previous job in laboratories showed the hospital I knew what it meant to be safe, confidential, and give the utmost care to patients I could not even see. I recently graduated with a BS in Business Management from Park University. In 2015 I graduated from Johnson County Community College with my A.A.S in Electronics Technology and am accredited by over ten different healthcare manufacturers on their equipment.
