Recruited to build a video production department and translate Greatist’s health & lifestyle editorial content into video content. Established creative programming goals, annual budget forecasting, and engineered a six month plan to scale the video business with limited resources. Led a team of four who executed across all video programming efforts: influencer development, studio operations, branded opportunities, and weekly on-going original content delivery.

I oversaw logistical execution & project management for all programming platforms (7 premium channels + 15 emerging brands) of DEFY Media. Managing a team of 20+ internal staff and +/- 40-50 freelance personnel, we are responsible for delivering quality content within a fast-paced scaleable and growing environment. We continue to produce & develop a vast number of on-going shows for multiple areas of distribution (Television, Mobile, Internet, etc.) with reputable partners (Netflix, YouTube, Verizon, etc.); accounting for 700MM monthly video views & a subscriber base of 65MM.

Responsible for logistical operations, production management, scheduling, and budget tracking for all video projects. Oversaw internal team five producers delivering custom video solutions to reputable commercial clients such as Coca Cola, Nivea, T-Mobile, Ford, etc.

Joined Jerry Zucker’s digital media startup to contribute in production management, cinematography, and oversee studio operations. Organized all incoming requests, hired crew, ordered gear, and maintained production facility of every shoot.
