Hello my name is Adam Hite. I have recently decided to undergo a career change. For the last three years I have been working as a package handler for FedEx Ground. There I learned many skills that I will carry with me into IT. I developed skills like Team problem solving as a Safety Pilot. I implemented several safety policies to better daily operations. I learned how to use and troubleshoot computer terminals and hand held package scanners, as well as hand held radios. Prior to FedEx I had my own window washing company for several years. There I learned a lot of soft skills dealing with costumer service and project management. I maintained my own finances and schedule. Along the way I have picked up several skills with direct implications to the IT world. I am familiar with the Microsoft Office suite as well as Microsoft Outlook. I am capable of troubleshooting both Windows and Apple OS's. I have gone through multiple public speaking training programs and communication programs. I am eager to get in the IT world and start doing what I am passionate about which is working with others to solve problems.
