The site has 1.5 million registered members, 2.5 million unique visitors and is growing rapidly.Leading all aspects of technology, including engineering, QA and technical operations. Co-directing the company product strategy, achieving a 2000% increase in site usage this year..Building the technology team from scratch, implementing all release processes and building a robust weekly agile product release pipeline. Faniq is now in a position to expand its technical staff through an overseas outsourced team. Successfully lowered Faniq’s average page load times drastically in 3 months, directly contributing to Faniq’s viral membership surge.

* Senior Director for both the Engineering and QA departments at Piczo, a 13.5M unique visitors per month social network (popular in Europe), reporting directly to the CEO for the first year.* Directly responsible for helping close Piczo’s third $11M VC round with U.S. Venture Partners and Mangrove Capital Partners in early January 2007.* Directly responsible for saving Piczo an excess of $1M in development costs by more than doubling engineering efficiency. Partially accomplished by an early strategic decision to re-architect key parts of Piczo’s core platform and create a service-tier for continued scalability and rapid product deployment. This enabled engineers to develop reliable products on top of our service-tier in a rapid manner.* Responsible for driving and co-architecting Piczo’s flagship product (in less than four months), Piczo Zone (a public media store, accessible by users to upload and share media).

* Architect for Sony Pictures Digital Content Distribution Platform (CDP).* Co-author/Architect of three technical Sony patents.* Designed and implemented core CDP platform functionality such as DRM, commerce, account (identity), and reporting services which are part of Sony's full digital media distribution solution. * Designed and implemented specific extension CDP platform functionality for other business units (Soap City, Sony Screenblast)* Designed and implemented core Screenblast architecture for an XSLT (XML transformation) system to deploy and render common web-based media content across multiple platforms (including HTML, Flash, cell-phones, hand-held devices, and gaming platforms)* Designed and implemented an MD5 based Apache security C module, part of Screenblast’s interceptor security model.

* Principal Engineer/Mgr I (Principal member of technical staff) for the Oracle InterOffice server team. * Responsible for all development and architectural efforts, including optimizing the InterOffice email server performance and scalability. * Designed and implemented an abstraction layer that integrated core InterOffice server components to run under the Windows NT concurrency architecture (threading model).* Designed and implemented a run-time component that could determine the current optimum concurrency strategy in order to improve TCP connection efficiency. * Designed and implemented components for the InterOffice Java Administration Console 1.0.

* Software design engineer for the Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server network monitor development group. * Designed and implemented network experts, network protocol parsers (including L2TP, OSPF, SMB etc), network monitoring tools (including a network name mapping API and a UI expert module).* Designed and implemented COM components (including adding lightweight ATL based COM components). * Implemented enhancement to the Network Monitor NDIS device driver.
