Motivated and Enthusiastic B.Sc. Civil Engineering graduate with +9 years of experience in client relations and construction. My Civil Engineering degree along with my work experience, have provided me with a diverse set of skills. These include but are not limited to areas such as structural engineering, project management, environmental engineering, transportation engineering and water resource engineering.Through my participation in several bridge competitions and involvement in various projects and clubs, I have gained experience in various areas. Some of these include; structural analysis by evaluating properties such as maximum deflection, buckling, maximum allowable forces, team work, cost estimation and structural design. Working on designs of Waste Water Treatment plant, Water Treatment plants, phase 1,2 and 3 site assessment’s and oil spill remediation. My final year project was to develop a structural health monitoring plan for the Deh Cho Bridge in the NWT, overseen by the department of transportation in the NWT. I developed new technical skills, but also aided my written, oral, team collaboration and leadership skills.In my past work experience at Royal Quality Catering, I gained experience in, scheduling, book keeping, management, client relations, personnel training and finances. My exceptional attention to detail, client relations and strong written and verbal communication skills aided in the growth of the company.My experience with LAL Builders, enabled me to learn the sub disciplines of general construction. I was able to develop a new skill set of leadership, management, cost estimations in the field. My hard work ethic and passion for Civil Engineering has driven me to strive for the best, always delivering quality to the clientele. Learning and adapting to newer more sustainable methods in the industry. I aim to positively influence my career along with my future employer with my motivation and skill set I have outlined.
